Let me be the brush is a reflection of letting intuition, the body, and the bigger picture guide — instead of the mind, goals, or specific outcome. I believe there is so much more wisdom inside us, if we get quiet enough to hear it.

This collection includes three paintings, and each of them carries a poem — or visually, parts of a poem — within it. Most of the poems were born in the middle of the painting process, and the textures were created by letting my hands dance on the canvas and guide the direction.

I believe in miracles
Because without them
life feels too heavy to deal with

I believe in goodness of people and that the heart is kind
even though our world is insane
and sometimes human pain is too great and all that’s golden stays hidden underneath the layers of it

But I do believe in healing

I believe there are answers for the ones who seek

I believe in beauty that is not polished
but raw and authentic

I believe in life
Always finding a way 

Still
there are times when I wake up to that empty feeling where I stop believing in anything
how meaningless this is 

And suddenly

The miracles arrive
as a form of gestures
or someone still loving me despite my imperfections

People gather together to create a better world
reminding that there is a connection

The sensations of pleasure ripple through my skin
The new day still arriving 
You taking my hand and smiling 

You can call me delusional or naive
to believe in anything in a world like this

But here’s what I’ve learned:
darkness and light exist
at the same time

Even the deepest shadow cannot be born without a luminous source behind it

So
the only question is
can we see on the other side?

It’s about living like now is the momentum
— because it is
