This artwork (in English: Blooming) describes the process of blooming and it's inspired by flowers and the nature all around us.
Raw textures and tiny rocks meet with delicate acrylics to capture the essence of this energy.

As humans, we have many different phases in our lives, and this artwork is celebration for those phases where everything feels a bit more easeful.

The painting is a part of Kaikki se, mikä tekee sinusta kokonaisen (Everything that makes you whole) -collection. The central theme of the collection is how each of us is whole just as we are – with all our flaws, pains, and joys.

People tend to hide parts of themselves behind various roles, but what if what makes us whole is precisely the fact that perfection doesn't exist?

Sometimes freedom and the beauty of life can be found in the stories, in what we've experienced and lived through.

Everything that makes you whole was showcased in a solo exhibition at the Walleniuksen Wapriikki main gallery from September 11th to October 6th, 2024 with video installation.
