This artwork (in English: For those who walk their own path) is a tribute to the quiet strength inherent in choosing one’s own way in life. It contains acrylics and heavy signature texture which sculpt a minimalistic landscape to dive oneself in.

The artwork is a part of Kaikki se, mikä tekee sinusta kokonaisen (Everything that makes you whole) -collection. The central theme of the collection is how each of us is whole just as we are – with all our flaws, pains, and joys.

People tend to hide parts of themselves behind various roles, but what if what makes us whole is precisely the fact that perfection doesn't exist?

Sometimes freedom and the beauty of life can be found in the stories, in what we've experienced and lived through.

The collection was showcased in a solo exhibition at the Walleniuksen Wapriikki main gallery from September 11th to October 6th, 2024 with video installation.
